The Consultation
You will be invited to a 30 minute Zoom consultation to give us the opportunity to meet, get to know each other, explore the type of session you are seeking, and review the pricing for your photoshoot. This is an excellent opportunity for questions, sharing of ideas, and starting the journey! Once you have booked your session with Simply Stunning Portraits and the booking fee is completed, we progress to...
The Styling Consultation
We will provide you with written and verbal direction in choosing your wardrobe. For special themed shoots, we will work together to bring your vision to fruition. There are some wardrobe items available in the studio to help round out your choices.
We will have a second pre-shoot zoom session to review wardrobe choices, talk about your lifestyle and home, and options for printed products that will allow you to fully enjoy the imagery. Do you prefer Big-On-The-Wall photos, or a private album or folio box? Or a blend? Everyone's preferences are unique!
While we are not currently offering hair and make-up services, we do recommend that your hair and make-up are done professionally or as close as possible! It does make such a difference, and we look forward to being able to add the service! You will be provided with a guide once your photoshoot is fully booked to help ensure camera-ready make-up!.
The Session
Here is where the fun really starts to pop!! We will meet, either at the Simply Stunning Portraits studio in Southern Washington County, MD or at an agreed upon location. Prior to the shoot we go over your wardrobe, styling, progression of the day, last minute ideas and questions. From then on, you leave everything up to me and my assistant. You will be entirely guided through the day, in such a way that you simply SHINE!
You will also have the opportunity to preview the portrait products offered to see what resonates with you, and have some time to go thru the wardrobe add-ons available. We strive to make this the best professional portrait session you have experienced!
My Studio is at 19510 Garretts Mill Road, Knoxville, MD. It is a former church that has been converted into the studio. I cannot wait to share this space with you and yours!!
The Order

Whether you’re looking to spend $500 or $5,000, we’re here to help you create a lasting memory that you will love forever.
In addition to offering the convenience of in-studio sessions, you can expect a classic full-service photography experience, beginning with a style and concept consultation so everything around your session and photos is perfectly tailored for you. On top of taking all the guess work out of prepping for your session, you’ll also get guided posing from head to toe so everyone in the photos is captured in the most flattering manner. Finally, your selected photos will be delivered in your choice of any combination beautifully curated albums, print boxes, and wall art to show it all off.
After the portrait session, you’ll view your gallery in person, and order the photos
that will be printed.
Social sized digital images are provided complimentary for each photo you choose.
